So now summer is over and I am a cold cam girl. Jesus Christ this summer wasn’t long enough, and to make matters worse the first weekend of Fall has been cold as hell and rainy…the end of summer pool party was more like ‘drink tequila for warmth and don’t stop dancing cuz you’ll freeze’ but I can’t complain, at least the trees are still green. I wasn’t feeling all that great this weekend but I still dragged myself out because I really wanted to properly celebrate the end of a wicked summer. So many cool things happened over the past few months and I had way more fun than I usually do because I found out the sky won’t fall if I actually take a break every now and then. I also got to see my family a lot, which is awesome cuz they live so far away.
In other news, this week my new computer arrived…it’s only the second thing I’ve ever bought through the mail cuz I hate online shopping but it arrived early and in perfect condition and I’m delighted with it. I may be a kick-ass cam girl and webmaster extraordinaire but I’m a tech newbie, and staring at selections of laptops was giving me mad anxiety because I had no idea which to choose. A tech guru cam girl and a few friends of mine all helped guide me to the perfect choice: an updated version of the exact same computer I have now. 😀 I love, nay ADORE my old computer (between my day job and my cam girl stuff sometimes it feels like my entire life is located on a motherboard) so I’m happy to have a newer version, only stronger and even faster. Bonus, now I have a comp that doesn’t make odd screeching sounds from time to time due to screen hinges that are starting to give due to years of hard use.
I’ve also, as always, been having a hella fun time on cam.
